34% have venue artwork. The rest get a plain typographic plate rather than a stock photograph.
Filtered out
7,525 upcoming rows are box-office admin products — booking insurance, interval drinks, parking, gift vouchers, room hire. They stay in the source but never appear as listings.
Where the extra detail comes from
Transport · 119 venues
Nearest rail, metro, tram, ferry and bus access points from Department for Transport NaPTAN under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Straight-line distances — not journey times, and not a service-status claim.
Addresses · 62 venues
Postal addresses matched conservatively against Overture Maps Places, keeping the match evidence. The current Places theme has component source licences and notices; every enriched page names the source.
Food nearby · 130 venues
Nearest FSA Restaurant/Cafe/Canteen inspection records within a mile, from FSA open data. Dated inspection results with no opening-hours or recommendation claim.

What we don't do
- Not every UK venue. Coverage is the 130 venues whose box offices publish open listings. Most cinema chains, ATG houses and TicketSource users are not here yet.
- No ticket sales and no commission. Every booking link points at the venue's own site. We take nothing from it, so nothing is ranked by payment.
- No live seat availability. A listing means the venue was selling that performance when we last read it, not that seats remain.
- No invented content. Where a venue publishes no synopsis, price or running time, the page says so instead of filling the gap.
- No paid placement. Ordering is by date and, on index pages, by how much is on sale.
