A mainstay of the pop charts, Smash Hits and Top of the Pops, Mari achieved chart successes with songs such as 'Beat the Beat', 'Baby It's True', and her breakthrough hit 'Just What I've Always Wanted', as well as her heart-wrenching version of 'Cry Me a River'.
